Last week Charmaine and I met for brunch at the Sugar Bowl. We both had the delicious breakfast special and I even treated myself to an early afternoon Radler! I was definitely feeling like a tomboy (minus the hot red lipstick). This outfit reminds me of Anybodys from West Side Story, I would love to play that character one day! 

Ok, so normally I am not the biggest fan of walking in this city, but the idea of venturing across the High Level Bridge back to my apartment sounded very appealing at the time. It turned out to be a great little adventure! I found so many cool bits of graffiti as I walked north along the bridge. Here are some of my favourite pictures!

A Thing of the Past: Part 2

Here's another amazing piece from Charmaine's shop athingofthepast Vintage! I love the colours in this skirt, it's so playful! It makes me want to put on a pair of high heel tap shoes and dance about Swing Time style!

What I Wore: to work

Hello friends, guess what...? I finally bought another pair of shorts! I have only had 1 pair of non-sports shorts for pretty much as long as I can remember. I just recently gave my old pair a new life by adding some lace! This is my first out fit with my new shorts. I really like them because they push my style (more Blonde Salad, less Cherry Blossom Girl), which is always fun! I was just hanging out, waiting to get picked up for work (hence the crazy amount of make-up), so I thought I would take some pictures of my new shorts. I had a lot of fun playing with light in these shots!

A. A couple a weeks ago I caught a really nasty cold. It was very unfotunate. It's not a lot of fun to do a dance show when you can't breath through your nose. This was me trying to be productive while being sick. I thought my books all sprawled out like that looked funny, so I snapped a picture! 

B. This was delicious smooth that I made. Raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, spinach, greek yogurt and milk. Yum! 

C. & D. Remi and I had dinner at his families house on my day off. It's about 40 mins out of Edmonton. I was so grateful to be around nature! I even got to pet his mother's horse! 

E. This was the beautiful sunset as we drove back into the city.

The Sugar Bowl is one of my favourite places to go in Edmonton after a show! Here are some pictures from one of last weeks trips with Remi. We shared a yummy burger and sampled 6 types of beer. Overall, we had a lovely evening!
