The Blitz Party: Part II - Black and White

 Happy New Year!

 Ladies.

Aren't they great!

 The ensemble.

A cute soldier asked me to dance. Swoon.

It was probably one of the most insane/surreal moments of the evening.

On the tube.

Like I said in Part I, this New Year's Eve was one of the best in my life. I attended the Annual NYE Blitz party with my dear friends, Nic and Paddy! Here are some of my favourite photos of Patricks.

CatchUp - Christmas

Hello there, fellow workers!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Mine has consisted of work and performing! Let me go back a step to my last post. I mentioned that things started getting crazy for me when I started "work", but I failed to mention where I work! I am currently working as front of house for the Palace Theatre, home of Singin' In the Rain! I am also currently in an Off- West End production of One Touch of Venus. So that's what I have been spending most of my time doing!

Christmas peppers and Crabbies.

Now - stepping back in time.

This Christmas (as I mentioned here) was my first Christmas away from home. I was pretty terrified. I just couldn't imagine a Christmas away from home, away from my family and our traditions. But luckily I met the loveliest Scottish girl named, Sam. She is pretty much the best thing since sliced bread. After only working with Sam for a week, she invited me over to hers for "Orphans Day", aka Christmas. She invited myself and a few other of her orphan friends over for the big day and I am very proud to say, we did very well. The day went off without a hitch, regardless if feeling slightly fragile from the amount of Christmas Eve margaritas!

 Christmas peppers.

One of my many Christmas Crabbies.

 Skypemas with Nicola.

All of our glorious goodies ready to be made, eaten and drunk!

 All gone. Christmas Eve margaritas!

Orphans Day Dinner!

The Menu

Camembert with maple syrup. We ate a lot of cheeses. More like "All the cheeses".

 Mashed potatoes.

Roast veg, ginger carrots and brussel sprouts.

 What a feast!

 My Mum's apple crumble recipe!

More amazing deserts.

More Skypemas with the fam.

I am just so thankful for this Christmas and my new friends.

What did you guys do for Christmas?

CatchUp - December

Hey there, people who read my blog!
I know that I have been missing in action for the past few months. This is mostly due to London kicking my butt, and work eating up a lot of my time! Over the next two weeks I hope to get caught up with all of my favourite photos still on my camera from last year. So here we go! Things started to get really crazy for me in December of last years, so that's where I will start! I'm not yet sure of the style of these posts, so bear with while I figure things out!

This is the beautiful view from work.

A closer look.

I spent some time in Notting Hill doing some babysitting for a family friend and fell in love a little bit.

I love how colourful and picture-perfect Notting Hill is!

I'm not sure if I will ever get over train stations like this. There is so much space and light - love!

I had so many beautiful nights before work in Covent Garden/ Leister Square!

Christmas at Seven Dials.

 Two of my favourite accessories!

I was living with a lovely young lady by the name of Sarah for the month of December. We didn't know each other at all before rooming, but we got along so well. Sarah was always buying fun things for the place such as this paper roll!

So that it for now folks, Christmas is coming up next as we go back in time! Happy Monday!

The Blitz Party: Part I - Run for Shelter

My outfit.

Happy New Year, everybody! Sorry I have been MIA so far this year, but things have been insanely busy. This year I was fortunate enough to attend the amazing New Year's Eve Blitz Party with my dear friends, Nic and Paddy. I can say with extreme confidence that we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. For me, it was one of the best New Year's to date. With so many themed rooms, this party came with it's own floor plan. This included multiple dance halls, a live music stage, a make-up room, and an outdoor area where we indulged in the most outstanding hotdogs imaginable.

It took us a while to stumble upon our favourite room (pictured below). There was enough space to dance, the bar wasn't too crowed and everyone was having the best of times.

Our favourite room.

I was so thrilled to finally be going to this event, as they happen in London almost every month. My friend Charmaine told me about The Blitz Party when I will still living in Canada, so I had been looking forward to going for about a year's time. It surpassed my expectations.

It was like stepping back in time.

Getting our New Year's Eve countdown drinks!

Paddy and Nic can boogie woogie.

The gang.

What's in the box?

Who's that guy?

Beauties.

There were old films everywhere.

It's getting late.

Kindest cloak room ticket ever.

If you're every in London town for one of these parties you must go!

Thanks for tuning in!
